- Class: Friday, March 14th
- Must be completed before: Friday, March 21st
- Overview: This assignment will introduce you to the ‘Stroke Selection’ capabilities of GIMP.
- Assignment:
- Open GIMP 2.
- Open a web browser and navigate to this page:
- Read through the tutorial.
- Follow the steps in the tutorial to select an area/shape and then use the ‘Stroke’ function to create a design.
- Export the final image as “06_StrokeSelection_01.jpg”
- Repeat the tutorial two more times, each time using different options for the ‘Stroke’ that you are creating.
- Export your images as: “07_StrokeSelection_02.jpg” and “08_StrokeSelection_03.jpg”
- When you are done with this assignment, you should have three different designs created by stroking selections.
- If you finish with THIS assignment, then you can continue on to Assignment #4
Homework:
- Complete the above tutorials. If you are not working on the school computers, you will need to EMAIL all of the images you create to Mr. Wilcox.
