- Understanding Resolution
- Identify the Resolution settings on your camera.
- Use your camera to take a picture of a scene on each of your camera's resolutions settings. For example, if your camera has 4 resolution settings, then you will take four photos of the same scene, but each with a different resolution setting.
- Understanding Quality
- Identify the Quality settings on your camera.
- Use your camera to take a picture of a scene on each of your camera's quality settings. For example, if your camera has 3 quality settings, then you will take three photos of the same scene, but each with a different resolution setting.
- Comparing the highest quality/resolution with the lowest quality/resolution of a scene
- Use your camera to take two photos of the same scene. One on the highest quality AND resolution setting and one on the lowest Quality/Resolution setting.

- Collect five images that clearly demonstrate the Rule of Thirds.
