- For this assignment, you will be making basic adjustments to a photo.
- Navigate to the photography folder and download your base photo: Photography Folder: Assignment Cropping and Basic Editing
- Load your photo into your favorite online photo editor.
- Be sure this photo editor has the ability to do the following
- Contrast
- Saturation
- Sharpen/Blur
- Black and White
- Cropping
- CONTRAST: Perform the following operations with the photo:
- Increase the contrast of the photo such that the giraffe is more vivid, but is not unnatural looking.
- Save the photo with the filename: 'YourName_Giraffe_01' [Example: MrWilcox_Giraffe_01.jpg]
- SATURATION: Perform the following operations with the photo:
- Increase the saturation of the photo such that the giraffe's color is more visible, but not unnatural looking.
- Save the photo with the filename: 'YourName_Giraffe_02' [Example: MrWilcox_Giraffe_02.jpg]
- SHARPEN: Perform the following operations with the photo:
- Increase the SHARPNESS of the photo such that the edges of spots on the giraffe are more clear, but don't over sharpen.
- Save the photo with the filename: 'YourName_Giraffe_03' [Example: MrWilcox_Giraffe_03.jpg]
- CROP: Perform the following operations with the photo:
- Set the CROP tool of your photo editor to a 4x6 size (this is a standard photo size). Using the rule of thirds, crop the photo such that the giraffe's legs fall along the left-vertical-third of the photo.
- Save the photo with the filename: 'YourName_Giraffe_04' [Example: MrWilcox_Giraffe_04.jpg]
- BLACK AND WHITE: Perform the following operations with the photo:
- Change the image to black and white.
